Halfway to Magnolia House

Laura Wingate, a New York City museum exhibitions manager, needed to take a break from her life. She travels to Magnolia House on the outskirts of Alexandria, Louisiana. A place she had shared many happy days with her grandparents. Along the way, Laura meets a Hollywood director who was preparing to direct a movie in locations around Alexandria. The two fall for each other, but a forgotten high school classmate complicates their affair and the movie project. Lives and history are about to be turned inside out.
